Dear Friends,

What a fun dance Friday night! Great costumes! If you were not able to come, we missed you. Hopefully, we will have some pictures Thursday night.

This coming Friday is the next Fun Fest. I hope you plan to go. Larry and I will be traveling on Friday to Vancouver, WA for a square dance weekend.

In a couple of weeks there is a Saturday dance that the Samena Squares will be going to up in Arlington. It is a student level dance with the Happy Hoppers. They came and danced with us Friday night. In the next few weeks we will figure out ways to carpool so everyone can go. Put it on your calendar.

Dates to note:

Friday, November 4, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m., First Friday Fun Fest hosted by the Whirlybirds with Dave Harry, caller. The hall is The Hayloft, 15320 35th Ave W, Lynnwood. Cost is $7/person. It was tons of fun at the October dance. Plan to go again.

Saturday, November 19, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m., Black & White Student Level Dance hosted by the Happy Hoppers, Kevin Thomaier, calling and Lynn Peltola, cueing. The hall is the Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Pt. Blvd, Arlington. (The exit off of I-5 North is Exit 206.) The Samena Squares will be caravanning to this dance. We will talk more as it gets closer.

Friday, December 2, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m., First Friday Fun Fest hosted by the Whirlybirds with Dave Harry, caller. The hall is The Hayloft, 15320 35th Ave W, Lynnwood. Cost is $7/person.

Friday, December 9, 7:30 – 10:00 p.m., Toyland Student Level Dance hosted by the Samena Squares. 7:30 – 8:00 p.m. Plus Dance, 8:00 – 10:00 pm. Student Level Mainstream Dance with rounds. I will be calling the squares. Karen Neverdowski will be cueing the rounds. The dance is in our hall, the Juanita Community Club. Cost is included with your lesson fee. Have a great week! See you Thursday!

Happy dancing,
