Mark your calendars - I would like to invite to join Lee and I at the Happy Hoppers for a square dance with Mike Sikorsky as the caller.  He is from Texas or Arizona and doesn't call in our area often.  He is a great caller as well as entertainer.  You will be entertained as you "watch" him call.  The dance is Sat. March 3 in Arlington at the Stillaguamish Senior Center.  It is my birthday week-end, so if you come and stay until the end of the dance, Lee and I would like you to be our guests at a restaurant on the way home where we will buy your afterparty treat!

Lessons are almost over and dancers are always welcome.  So if you have nothing to do this Thursday night, head down to the JCC and dance with the group.

Note:  We will be caravaning the to Wagon Wheels on April 21.  Please put it on your calendars for a sure thing.  Thanks to all of you who responded to this request.  What a great group of people to work with.

I just confirmed with Susan that we will graduate our students on Thursday, March 8.  We would like as many club members to come as possible.  We want our students to see what a great group of people we are and why they would want to join our club after graduation.  It would be interesting to wear a variety of dance attire so they can see we don't care what they wear just come out dancing.  We can wear our two different caravans, as well as some silver vests and please someone wear casual clothes.  Just be there for a fun night.

Susan will have workshops again following lessons March 15-May 31.  These will help prepare you for the 61st National Square Dance Convention in Spokane where the dancing is very fun and probably faster than you might be use to.  So come and get prepared for Nationals in June.
